Learn about social animals and how their brain’s has a special hormone called oxytocin that’s called the “cuddle hormone” or the “love hormone” because it is released when when they bond socially.  Snuggling or just being close to beings you care about is good for your health and helps social animals to survive and thrive! Even whales, prairie dogs, and otters take care of each other this way.
